Food: The menu has a lot of different combination choices to select. I ordered a burrito, enchilada, taco combo. I hate to say this but it didn't have a lot of flavor. The taco sauce had no spice and the ground beef filling had no flavor either and it had the texture of kitty liter... Normally I would have corrected this by using hot sauce but all that they had on the table was a habenero pepper sauce that's way too spicy for me. They didn't even have a mild or medium sauce available on the table. (I didn't ask for one though.)

Service: The waiter was attentive and polite. It's not his fault the food was unremarkable.

Atmosphere: The decor was nice. It was a cross between sports bar and Mexican. It was clean and tidy.

Value: For the amount of food we got, it was a decent value but that lack of favor just doesn't make it worth it in the end.

Final Thought: This isn't an establishment that I would go back to simply because I did not like the food.

I love El Arriero. The cheese dip is simply the most delicious thing ever, and they offer several vegetarian options. Every Spanish instructor I've had tells me that El Arriero is the most authentic Mexican food in town. The waiters like to joke with the regulars.

"El Arriero" means "the Winner."
